(WARNING - This post is most likely going to be a rant)
It all started last year during the H&M & Lanvin Collaboration. When the first photos were revealed I was in love - the prom dresses were to die for and the t-shirts were so cute I would never take them off.
Then I found out that out of the two Leicester stores, none would be getting the collection. Infact, unless you lived in London it was pretty much impossible for you to grab one of the beauties. It would have to be online shopping for me. I got up two hours early to start the refreshing and waiting on the site and.... nothing. The site crashed and I was Lanvin-less, it was a very very sad day.
When I heard about the Versace collaboration, I didn't really have a reaction and probably just scrolled past the news on Twitter. I have finally accepted that you have to be either REALLY lucky to get a few pieces, have too many hours in the day to queue up or just have secret connections with H&M. I thought H&M was a company that wanted people all over the country to buy and wear their products. Isn't the point of having a collaboration to allow those that cannot afford a designer's high end collection to own one? I would love to see students walking around Leicester in a Versace or Lanvin shirt and being proud of owning it. I know I would be.

Why I don't care for the Versace x H&M Collaboration.
