We need to talk about the new Zatchels..

You all know I'm a HUGE fan of Zatchels and my pretty red Zatchel is still regarded as 'my baby' so when I saw the new collections, I swooned and swooned..

Metallic Stars

Without the generic 'starry eyes' cliche, these Zatchels really caught  my eye and seem perfect as a gift.  My best friends and my sister have already fallen in love with them.

Saddle Bags

I love the organic and woody feel of these bags, and I can image myself with one to pop my iPhone, purse and lipstick in when I nip round the shop or on a night out.

There's two new Barrel Bag collections - metallic and a winter collection.  Like the saddle bags, these are made for your essential items and there's enough choices for everyone to love a colour.  The metallic collection would look hot on a night out with a black ensemble.

Rules I Live By

I always get asked about how I stay positive and weirdly happy in day to day life so I've decided to share my rules of life in the hope it will inspire you for a good week!

1. Stay positive! - I always say "positive attitudes give positive outcomes" when people are unmotivated or down.  There is something happy and positive bound to happen very soon, just wait for it and see. 
2. If you're not sure, don't buy it! - Many a time I find myself staring at some shoes or a book wondering if I need it.  If you struggle to persuade yourself to buy something you really don't need it. 
3. If you look in the mirror and feel like yourself, wear it or buy it! - This especially goes for coat and hat shopping in this season.  I tried on most of the coats in the flagship Topshop before putting on my choice and falling in love with it. 
4. Don't be afraid to be alone - Whether it's eating out or going on a short break alone to get away from it all you'll learn new things about yourself and reflect on things you have to do easier.
5. Have no regrets - Something bad happened huh? It's now in the past, you can't change it, you can learn from it, it's time to look towards the future.
6. Dream big - If you want to be a big star or have a huge job, go for it!  Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.  Be motivated by your dream and relish it when you get it.
7. Have something to look forward to - It could be something as big as a holiday or as small as a box of cupcakes. Looking forward to something motivates you to get through the tasks and the days and there's a real sense of reward when you finally reach it.
8. Be spontaneous! - If you wake up and realise you want to do something, just do it.  Many a time I have had a sudden urge to dye or cut my hair and I've ended up loving it everytime.  
9. Wear heels at least once a week - even if it's to uni or down the pub, it'll help your walking in heels skills and your posture.  Pretty shoes shouldn't be locked away in the dark closet no? 
10. And finally, wear your favourite colour as much as possible - it'll make your day happier and it'll really develop your personal style.

My first Lomography films - Weymouth and London

I love my Lomography cameras! I got my action sampler (the first 3 photos) on eBay for a sweet £6 and my Diana Mini as seen in my Regents Park post for £20 because I got a Groupon Voucher worth £50 for the Lomography store in Soho.  I couldn't wait to get them processed and I'm really impressed with the results!  Only a few didn't turn out and it's a fab learning curve!
