A Tatty Devine Jubilee Gift (For Myself)

Whilst I was in Birmingham today I spotted the cutest necklace ever in Selfridges and mentally dismissed it because it probably would cost a small fortune. I couldn't stop thinking about that said necklace and went back to ask the sales assistant (after she had given me a very clear look up and down) the price. You can imagine how far my jaw dropped and how quick my debit card was jumping into the machine when she said £25. A steal! Yay!

The Carrie Diaries - Release Date and Trailer!

Exactly a week ago The CW announced it's show line-up for 2012-2013 season. There was lots of good news as Hart of Dixie (watch it over the summer if you haven't seen it!), Nikita and Gossip Girl were renewed and The Carrie Diaries was picked up!

However, there is some sad news, there will only be 10 more episodes of Gossip Girl (sob) due to the cast contracts ending and running out of people for Nate and Serena to randomly go out with... probably. We're not going to talk about the awful finale.

ahh Dair.. I miss you so.

The Carrie Diaries will begin 14th January 2013 on the CW channel at 8/7 central. when Gossip Girl has ended. Hopefully this means that it will have 22 episodes and will also keep us all entertained through the TV dry-spell in the summer.

It looks very different from the first book in The Carrie Diaries series as Carrie doesn't end up in New York until the last few pages. If it doesn't live up to it's expectations I'll probably cry over my Gossip Girl DVDs.

The ASOS Cake Dress.

This adorable tea dress went on sale today for a slightly expensive £70. I first spotted it last week in this month's ASOS Magazine modelled by Marina (& The Diamonds). If it was cheaper I would definitely be adding it to my shopping bag for summer events.

My Summer Book Tower.

Over the last couple of months I've been buying books like mad with the intention of getting my reading bug back. I also received lots as gifts for my birthday (they know me so well) so now I have a really good motivation to spend the start of my summer holidays away from the shops (maybe) and curled up with the dog and a book. Yay.

Also an honourable mention to the final 'I heart....' book from Lindsey Kelk. I literally buzz with excitement every time I remember it's out in less than a month. I. Can't. Wait.

What I wore to see The Avengers.. Twice!

If you've seen Avengers, wasn't it AWESOME! If you haven't, why not?!

As a fan of awesome films and all things nerd I decided to go see 'Avengers Assemble' even though I had no idea about any of the back stories or any comic book knowledge whatsoever. Not only does it contain some of the best special effects since Inception and Dark Knight, it's actually REALLY funny.
